A grower can either be a registered patient, the patient’s designated caregiver, or a registered medical marijuana dispensary. A grower is designated by a registered qualifying patient to grow or cultivate marijuana or Marijuana-Infused Products. A grower must be registered with a valid registration card under the Department of Health and Human Service (DHHS) to legally provide or cultivate an allowable amount of medicinal marijuana to registered patients with qualifying debilitating conditions. A grower can possess not more than a total of twelve plants and two-and-a-half ounces of marijuana in a single fourteen-day period.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Have no past drug felony offense.
- Must have a valid card registration under DHHS.
- Marijuana must be stored in an enclosed and locked facility away from public view.
- Must be at least 1,000 feet from a private or public school.
