Nevada has limited medical marijuana patients, about 7,000 patients. However, when you add medical marijuana patients from other states who may take advantage of Nevada’s liberal reciprocity law, the number becomes quite large. There could possibly be 110,000 patients from Colorado, 570,000 from California, and 100,000 from Washington.

By November 2016, the Initiative to Tax and Regulate Marijuana shall be voted upon by Nevada residents. Once enacted into law, the State will allow adults to possess and grow marijuana up to one ounce and/or six plants for personal use. The measure also includes the regulation and taxation of retail sale and commercial production of marijuana.
